Shipping policy
This is a structural template, not a policy. The headings below are the ones this document needs and the placeholders mark every decision the business still has to make. Nothing has been invented — no windows, no timelines, no charges, no guarantees. Have the finished text reviewed by someone qualified before publishing: these documents are legally operative and, in India, ecommerce sellers have specific disclosure obligations under consumer protection and IT rules.
Where we ship
Placeholder
State whether shipping is pan-India only, or international as well, and name any PIN codes or regions that cannot be served.
Order processing time
Placeholder
How long between an order being placed and it leaving the warehouse — stated in working days, with the cut-off time for same-day dispatch and how weekends and public holidays are treated. Personalised and engraved items take longer and that difference belongs here.
Delivery timelines
Placeholder
Expected transit time by region — metro, non-metro, remote — as an estimate, not a guarantee, since couriers control this. No delivery promise appears anywhere on this site until courier partners are confirmed.
Shipping charges
Placeholder
Flat rate, weight-based or free above a threshold. The homepage announcement bar currently shows a free-shipping line above ₹999 as a placeholder; it must match whatever is decided here or be removed.
Tracking
A tracking number is emailed and sent by SMS when an order ships, and can be looked up any time on the order tracking page.
Failed deliveries and incorrect addresses
Placeholder
What happens after failed delivery attempts, how long a parcel is held, who pays for re-dispatch, and how refunds work on returned-to-origin parcels.
Damaged or missing parcels
Placeholder
The window for reporting damage in transit, what evidence is needed — unboxing video, photographs — and how claims are resolved.
